Are dogs allowed on board the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway?

Regional Trains:
Dogs are allowed on the regional trains of MGBahn. Dogs up to 30 cm shoulder height in transport boxes, baskets, or other suitable containers can be carried free of charge. Larger dogs require a ticket at half price.

Zermatt Shuttle between Täsch and Zermatt:
Dogs up to 30 cm shoulder height in transport boxes, baskets, or other suitable containers can be carried free of charge. The dog must already be in the container before the access gate to board the shuttle. Larger dogs and dogs traveling without a container require a ticket at half price.

Glacier Express:
Dogs cannot be transported on the Glacier Express.
